Lễ tưởng nhớ huyền thoại Arnold Palmer tại quê hương Latrobe

Làng golf thế giới đã tụ hội về Latrobe, quê hương của Arnold Palmer để tiễn biệt trong lễ tưởng niệm huyền thoại, người được coi là đại sứ truyền bá golf - The King của mọi thời đại. Lễ tưởng niệm đã diễn ra vào ngày 4/10 chỉ ít ngày sau chiến thắng thuyết phục của tuyển Mỹ trước tuyển châu Âu tại Ryder Cup sau gần 1 thập kỷ. Chiến thắng này thật ý nghĩa như để dâng tặng đến Arnold Palmer, người cũng đã có công đóng góp trong 6 chiến thắng tại Ryder Cup của Mỹ thập niên 60-70 của thế kỷ trước. Arnold Palmer đã ra đi vĩnh viễn nhưng những thành tựu, cống hiến vĩ đại của ông đối với golf là trường tồn mãi mãi.
