AJGA Invitational 2026: A gateway to scholarships and global opportunities for Vietnam’s young golfers

AJGA Invitational 2026: A gateway to scholarships and global opportunities for Vietnam’s young golfers

A Stage for Talent – Bridging to U.S. University Scholarships

This year’s field gathers amateur golfers born between 2007 and 2014 (ages 12–19) who have not yet enrolled in university. Played over 54 holes of individual stroke play, the event features three rounds across four days (January 23–25). After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 60% of boys and girls to advance to the final round.

A special highlight of this year’s edition is the “University Golf Scholarship Search Seminar”, held on January 22, featuring two NCAA Division I coaches from the United States. The session offers a rare opportunity for Vietnamese junior golfers to engage directly with the collegiate golf scholarship pathway – the same route that has shaped many international players into future professionals.
